Richard Z. Kruspe Appreciation Page

Richard Z. Kruspe (born Sven Kruspe), is the lead guitarist of the band Rammstein and singer of his side-project Emigrate. He was born on June 24th, 1967 in the town of Wittenberge, East Germany. He is currently 57 years old. Richard was the second of three children, and had spoken in an interview about how he was less equipped when it came to how much love he got from his mother (specifically). He also often ran away from home in his younger years. He bought his first guitar is Czechoslovakia and was originally going to sell it. That was, until a girl came around and asked him to play for her. He told her that he didn't know how to play, but the girl insisted and when he played, apparently she liked it. He used that as his motivation to genuinely learn how to play the guitar. Richard has three children, one son and two daughters. Richard was also married at one time, but later got divorced. When asked about it in an interview, he stated that he was "too polygamous" for marriage.
